Outside the underground palace, the bright moon hung high in the sky.

The atmosphere within the Wan Xie Mansion was chilling, almost suffocating.

A large group of figures had encircled the Xie Palace, sealing off every possible escape route.

At the forefront stood two elders—one clad in black robes and the other in white. These were the elders of the Xie Sect, known as Xie Tian and Xie Di. Both possessed peak Star Condensation cultivation, their formidable presence unmistakable.

Behind them stood dozens of Transcendence cultivators, along with hundreds of martial artists ranging from the Innate Realm to the Body Tempering Realm. Their expressions were cold enough to freeze the air itself.

“Who… who dared to kill the Second Young Master?!”

Xie Tian’s voice was laced with fury as he glared at the Xie Palace, his face a storm of emotions.

“This person’s abilities are extraordinary,” Xie Di murmured gravely. “To infiltrate the Wan Xie Mansion under our noses is no small feat. We mustn’t act recklessly.”

“How long until the Divine Punishment Elders arrive?” Xie Tian asked, his tone cold and impatient.

“They’ll reach Nanjiang City within half an hour,” Xie Di replied, clenching his fists. “Until then, we must guard the Xie Palace and ensure the intruder doesn’t escape!”

At that moment, a distinct sound of footsteps echoed from within the Xie Palace.

Step. Step. Step. Step.

The rhythm of the steps caused every Xie Sect cultivator to tense up, preparing for the worst.

When Ning Ye emerged from the Xie Palace with Su Baizhou in his arms, the two elders were visibly startled.

“Who is this man?”

“He looks so young!”

“Why…why can’t we sense his aura?”

“Could it be… that his cultivation is far beyond ours?”

“Wait… he even opened the millennial profound ice!”

Their expressions shifted rapidly, their wariness of Ning Ye skyrocketing. In their eyes, he had become a figure of utmost danger.

“Who are you?” Xie Tian demanded coldly.

“Do you realize that killing the Second Young Master of our Xie Sect, intruding into the Wan Xie Mansion’s underground palace, and abducting someone from our sect are all capital offenses?” Xie Di spoke up as well, clearly hoping to intimidate Ning Ye by invoking the name of the Xie Sect.

In response, Ning Ye glanced at the two elders briefly before gently setting Su Baizhou down.

“Daddy, what’s wrong?” Su Baizhou asked casually, her red, bewitching eyes sweeping over the Xie Sect cultivators.

That single glance sent a chill through every one of them, as if their souls were on the brink of annihilation.

“What do you think?” Ning Ye asked her with amusement.

“I don’t know!” Su Baizhou shook her head, then said very seriously, “But… these people are so weak!”

Indeed.

Ning Ye chuckled faintly but didn’t deny it.

Despite her youthful appearance of sixteen, Su Baizhou was a true cultivator of the Legend Realm. To her, anyone below that level of power was naturally weak.

“Daddy, should I kill them for you?” Su Baizhou tilted her head and asked.

“What’s this? You feel like killing?” Ning Ye responded.

“A little,” Su Baizhou nodded.

“Then go ahead,” Ning Ye laughed, genuinely amused.

Hiss!

The Xie Sect cultivators shuddered at the exchange.

Ning Ye—a man who had silently infiltrated the Wan Xie Mansion, slain the Second Young Master, and shattered the millennial profound ice.

Su Baizhou—a terrifying girl whose mere gaze seemed capable of freezing one’s soul.

If these two joined forces, was there any hope for survival?

Haa.

Xie Tian took a deep breath and spoke solemnly, “Venerable! Do you intend to unleash a massacre within my Wan Xie Mansion?”

“What’s wrong? Not allowed?”

Ning Ye smiled faintly as he countered Xie Tian’s question with his own.

“You!!!”

Xie Tian was momentarily at a loss for words, his expression shifting unpredictably.

Beside him, Xie Di quickly pulled him back, attempting to mediate with a calm and composed tone.

“Venerable, what has happened has already happened. Why don’t we resolve this matter peacefully?”

“Hahaha!”

Hearing this, Ning Ye chuckled, his laughter carrying a cold, mocking edge.

“Kill your Xie Sect’s Second Young Master, intrude into your Wan Xie Mansion’s underground palace—isn’t that a capital offense?”

“And now, you want to resolve this peacefully? How exactly?”

Xie Di’s face remained expressionless as he replied, “Venerable, surely you jest. This matter can indeed be resolved.”

“Is that so?”

Ning Ye raised an eyebrow, his tone casual yet sharp.

“Are you planning to resolve it yourselves?”

“Or are you waiting for the arrival of your stronger sect members to handle it?”

“Half an hour… can you afford to wait that long?”

The moment those words fell, the faces of Xie Tian and Xie Di changed drastically. They hadn’t expected Ning Ye to know exactly what they were scheming.

The two elders exchanged a glance, their eyes silently communicating their decision. In the next instant, their auras erupted in unison. They soared into the air, transforming into two brilliant stars streaking toward Ning Ye.

Now that Ning Ye had seen through their plans, there was no longer room for negotiation—only battle!

“Heh!”

Seeing this, Ning Ye merely chuckled. His cold, clear eyes suddenly glowed with two beams of chaotic light, transcendent and otherworldly, as if detached from the constraints of the heavens.

In that instant, his body felt light, unrestrained, as though he had stepped into an ineffable, profound state of being.

Above the nine heavens and ten earths, across all worlds, gods and demons alike were nothing more than fleeting illusions. At the end of eternity, there would remain only one—an invincible being.

A flood of divine insights surged into his mind, and his soul and body simultaneously broke free of the shackles of the Heavenly Dao.

Heaven’s Seal—activated!
