“From the Junlin Empire, once one of the four great military families, the third young master of the Xiao family, Xiao Tu!”

“Rumor has it that at the Red Wedding three years ago, he was the only survivor of the Xiao family!”

“Everyone thought he had died outside all those years ago, yet here he is, back now!”

“And not only has he returned, but he seems… different from before.”

“Indeed! His cultivation has skyrocketed, and his appearance and demeanor have changed too!”

…

Xiao Tu listened to the murmurs around him, his expression blank as he walked through Tianmen Pass.

Three years! No one knew the torment he had endured during those years.

Nor did anyone know the sacrifices he had made or the painful costs he had paid to gain his strength.

Now, it was finally his time to reap the rewards.

He would claim the top spot in the Heavenly Hero Ranking, marry Wu Yao, and leverage the power of the Junlin royal family to restore the Xiao clan to its former glory.

That was his plan.

“Brother Xiao Tu… You…”

Wu Yao stared at the familiar yet strange figure before her, at a loss for words. Xiao Tu was just a month older than her, so she’d always called him “Brother.” They had grown up together, their bond deep and enduring. When the Xiao family was annihilated three years ago, she had been heartbroken. Despite using all her power, she couldn’t find the mastermind behind the Red Wedding.

In the end, she had been forced to give up, seeking only to find Xiao Tu and protect him. Yet, he’d seemingly vanished, his whereabouts unknown, even after she had called upon the power of the Misty Peak.

Now, seeing Xiao Tu again, she realized he had become someone else. Though his appearance remained the same, something within him had changed.

“Long time no see.”

Xiao Tu gave her a faint smile, but it was no longer the warm, carefree grin of the past. This smile carried a subtle charm, one that felt almost feminine.

“Ai!”

Wu Yao let out a sigh, and just as she was about to ask Xiao Tu about his disappearance over the past three years, her brows furrowed. She felt a gaze blatantly sizing up her body.

Clang!

A blinding flash of sharp sword light erupted.

Qianmiao Sword unsheathed!

Wu Yao swiftly turned, holding her sword, its tip pointing at Luo Zhiye.

“Luo Zhiye!”

“Do you want to keep those eyes?”

Hehe!

Luo Zhiye laughed arrogantly at her words.

“Princess Wu Yao!”

“After today, you’ll be mine!”

“Is it not appropriate for this prince to gaze upon his future bride?”

In your dreams!

Wu Yao coldly rebuked him, her beautiful eyes now filled with killing intent. She harbored a deep loathing for Luo Zhiye.

“Fierce!”

“Too fierce!”

“But I like it!”

“Hahaha!”

Luo Zhiye’s gaze lingered on Wu Yao’s stunningly beautiful face before drifting lower, resting on her ample bosom. He couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“Scoundrel!”

Wu Yao gritted her teeth, gripping her sword tightly. She slashed it through the air, unleashing dozens of sharp sword auras, all aimed at Luo Zhiye.

Seeing this, Luo Zhiye raised an eyebrow and with a dismissive wave of his hand, released endless dark energy, instantly shredding all the sword auras. He then arrogantly smirked.

“Is that all?”

At that moment, Ye Wuya couldn’t hold back any longer. He stepped forward, his voice cold as he spoke.

“Luo Zhiye!”

“After all these years, you’re still the same old trash!”

“Heh!”

Luo Zhiye sneered, casting a contemptuous glance at Ye Wuya.

“Defeated dog, what courage do you have to bark?”

“Hmph!”

Ye Wuya snorted, his expression cold.

“Three years ago, I lost to you in one move. But today, let’s see if you can still stand!”

Hearing this, Xuan Zang of the Great Leiyin Temple couldn’t help but look at Ye Wuya in shock, his voice filled with disbelief.

“This guy was that weak, and you lost to him in one move?”

You!!!

Ye Wuya and Luo Zhiye both fell silent, glaring at Xuan Zang.

At that moment, Xiao Tu, watching the interruption from Xuan Zang, felt a cold glint flash in his feminine eyes. He let out a mocking laugh.

“Heh heh heh!”

“What is wrong with this world?”

“Now even monks want to get married!”

Huh?

Xuan Zang scratched his bald head and looked at Xiao Tu, muttering under his breath.

“A monk cannot marry, that’s true.”

“But you, a little eunuch, definitely can’t get married!”

In that instant, Xiao Tu’s face darkened. It was as if his most sensitive nerve had been touched, and his cold, menacing eyes locked onto Xuan Zang as he roared.

“Bastard!”

“Who do you think you’re calling a eunuch?!”

Xuan Zang examined Xiao Tu seriously again, shaking his head: “A monk never lies.”

“You are a eunuch!”

“That’s the truth!”

Xiao Tu’s fists clenched tightly as a terrifying purple light gleamed in his eyes.

“Too far!”

Xuan Zang spread his hands, looking helpless.

“How has it come to this? Can’t a man even speak the truth anymore?”

“Hahahaha!”

“Little Wu Yao, didn’t expect your childhood sweetheart, Brother Xiao Tu, to be a yin-yang person!” Luo Zhiye poured gasoline on the fire, laughing maniacally.

“Scoundrel!” Wu Yao’s beautiful face was cold and terrifying.

“He’s a yin-yang person, but you’re the one with a broken butt!”

Xuan Zang continued, shaking his head and speaking the truth. Long ago, he had used a mighty Vajra Kick to defeat Luo Zhiye, shattering his butt. To this day, he still relished the memory of that victorious moment.

Hearing this, Luo Zhiye’s handsome face turned red and then green as he shouted at Xuan Zang, infuriated.

“Stinking monk!”

“Did this prince give you permission to speak?”

The atmosphere at Tianmen Pass grew tense, as if the air itself might explode.

Thousands of cultivators from across the Eastern Wilderness stared in stunned silence.

They hadn’t even started fighting yet, but the tension was already suffocating.

The top geniuses clashed, each one refusing to back down.

This, they realized, was what a true battle of geniuses looked like.

“A bunch of weaklings… What are they even shouting about?”

“So noisy!”

From the crowd emerged a slender and delicate young man clad in black battle attire, his expression bored.

“The younglings from the Eastern Wilderness… quite the spectacle.”

The elder from the Tianji Pavillion sighed, stroking his gray beard as he watched the heated exchanges between the top geniuses.
