At this moment, the seventeen Xuan Boats were traveling at an almost unreasonable speed, weaving through the clouds, navigating the vast expanse of the sky.

Inside the lead Xuan Boat, the Ten Great Generals of Junlin were staring out the window at the landscape, the forests rushing by below them. Their expressions were extremely serious. They had stopped talking, and none of them even took a sip of tea from the table, clearly tense to the breaking point.

Meanwhile, Ning Ye was just as silent, his hand tapping rhythmically on the red table as his mind endlessly replayed potential scenarios that could unfold once they infiltrated the Yin-Yang Sect.

In contrast, Jun Qianyue seemed much more relaxed. She was teasing the small snake on Ning Ye’s shoulder, Xiao Cai, and sipping the freshly brewed tea made by Qianye. It was as though the Yin-Yang Sect held no weight in her mind at all.

As for Xiao Cai, it appeared especially fond of Jun Qianyue, occasionally flicking its tongue and licking the palm of her hand.

“Mu Lin, tell me,” Ning Ye turned his gaze to Mu Lin and asked in a low voice, “What’s the situation with the Yin-Yang Sect?”

Mu Lin, having grown up in the Yin-Yang Sect, naturally knew it well. If they were to infiltrate the Yin-Yang Sect, it was crucial to understand their enemies.

Hearing this, Mu Lin gave Ning Ye a brief glance before slowly speaking.

“The Yin-Yang Sect…is located at Nine Yin Mountain.”

“Nine Yin Mountain contains thirty-three mountain ranges.”

“Within these thirty-three ranges, there are thirty-three Yin-Yang Halls.”

“Each of these halls is overseen by a Hall Master who has reached high-tier Divine Sacred Realm cultivation.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, the already tense great generals of Junlin in the Xuan Boat swallowed hard, their faces growing even darker.

Thirty-three main halls meant thirty-three Divine Sacred Realm powerhouses!

Who could withstand that?

“Hmm…” Ning Ye nodded, then asked, “What about the strongest among them? Who is the most powerful, and what is their cultivation level?”

With his current cultivation, if he activated the Heaven’s Seal, he could largely ignore Divine Sacred Realm powerhouses. What he needed to know was the absolute pinnacle of strength in the Yin-Yang Sect, their highest-level combatants.

“The strongest in the Yin-Yang Sect is naturally the Sect Master, Mu Cangtian!”

“But I’ve never seen him at the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“However, my master once said that the Sect Master’s cultivation is unparalleled, with abilities beyond comprehension—he’s a top-tier figure even among those from Overheaven.”

“So… his cultivation level must at least be Divine Concealment Realm, or possibly even Divine Dao Realm.”

Mu Lin added earnestly, warning Ning Ye.

“Mu Cang Tian, Sect Master of the Yin-Yang Sect,” Ning Ye muttered the name under his breath, rubbing his temples.

If the Yin-Yang Sect’s leader was in Nine Yin Mountain, then they were in trouble.

Seeing the deepening frown on Ning Ye’s face, Jun Qianyue smiled and suddenly spoke up.

“Don’t worry!”

“Mu Cangtian is not at Nine Yin Mountain!”

“In fact… he’s not even in the Eastern Wilderness!”

“So, we don’t need to worry about him.”

“Eh?”

The others looked at Jun Qianyue in surprise.

“How do you know?” Ning Ye asked, his curiosity piqued.

“Ning Ye, you don’t think my intelligence network is limited to just the Junlin Dynasty, do you?” Jun Qianyue winked at him.

“Is your source reliable?” Ning Ye asked, still a bit skeptical.

“Of course, it’s reliable!”

“I can even tell you: this information comes from the Sacred Mountain!”

A playful smile appeared on Jun Qianyue’s lips.

“Ah, I see!” Ning Ye nodded, his expression more at ease.

If the information came from the Sacred Mountain, then there would be no issues. After all, for so many years, the Sacred Mountain had always been the sworn enemy of Overheaven, with the Nine Heavens Fengyu Tower backing it.

“Miss, could it be that the information came from that person in the Sacred Mountain?” Qianye asked with curiosity.

“Yes! It was her!” Jun Qianyue nodded.

“Her?” Ning Ye looked at them with confusion.

“Hmph!” Jun Qianyue smirked. “She’s now a big shot in the Sacred Mountain!”

“Back then, outside the Great Abyssal Wall, the young lady saved her life. So, over the years, they have kept in touch.”

“In a way, the person in the Sacred Mountain is already considered the young lady’s best friend!”

Qianye let out a soft snort, and from her tone, Ning Ye could tell that Jun Qianyue and the person she was referring to shared a deep bond.

But here’s the problem—Jun Qianyue had always been alone in the Against the Nine Heavens!

Best friends? That seemed unlikely!

So, there was only one possible conclusion: Jun Qianyue probably never considered that person a true friend or “best friend” in the conventional sense.

Shaking his head, Ning Ye snapped back to the present. Now wasn’t the time for him to dwell on Jun Qianyue’s relationships.

“If Mu Cangtian isn’t here, that’s the best outcome!”

“Mu Lin, do you know where your master would have locked up Su Su?” Ning Ye pressed on, asking the most important question.

“Yin-Yang Sect… Twin Peaks, Soul Spirit Hall!”

“That’s where I grew up.”

Mu Lin lowered her eyes and softly responded to Ning Ye.

“Good!”

“Now that we have the Saintess’ assistance…”

“All we need to do is quietly infiltrate Nine Yin Mountain and rescue Miss Su Su from the Soul Spirit Hall!” Qianye said confidently.

“That’s possible!”

“But… Ning Ye, I’m sure you’re thinking beyond just that!” Jun Qianyue crossed her arms and smiled even more coldly, her gaze sharpening.

“Yes!” Ning Ye nodded without hesitation.

Rescuing Su Su was only his first step.

The second step was to eliminate the roots.

Since the Yin-Yang Sect had learned of Su Su’s Ghost Spirit Royal Family heritage, he couldn’t let anyone from the Yin-Yang Sect survive.

Most importantly, Mu Cangtian was not here—this was the perfect opportunity.

“How fortunate!”

“I wasn’t planning on letting the Yin-Yang Sect off so easily either!” Jun Qianyue smiled as she took out dozens of golden crystal orbs from her storage ring, each containing an incredibly destructive force.

And as someone with the Nether Holy Flame, Ning Ye immediately sensed that these crystal orbs contained sparks of Heavenly Flame. Though they were small fragments, their power was still shockingly potent!

“Miss Jun!”

“Are you planning to…?” one of the Ten Great Generals stared at Jun Qianyue in disbelief, his voice trembling with shock.

“Simple!”

“Burn the mountains!”

“Cut the grass at its roots!”

Jun Qianyue took a small sip from her teacup, and a chilling killing intent flashed in her beautiful eyes.

“These two… truly have a level of coordination that’s unsettling!”

“Yet, the younger generation is indeed formidable!”

The Ten Great Generals let out a bitter laugh, then, with resigned expressions, they approached, carefully distributing the golden crystal orbs from the table.

Although Ning Ye and Jun Qianyue hadn’t explicitly said it, the generals, sharp as they were, knew that this task of setting the mountains on fire was theirs to carry out.

…

Half an hour later.

Nightfall.

Ning Ye stood up, looking at the endless expanse of dark mountains before him. He spoke slowly, “Everyone!”

“We have arrived!”

At the same time, Jun Qianyue stood beside Ning Ye, smiling as she said, “The night is perfect!”

“Perfect for killing!”
