At this moment, inside Gu Junqing’s car—

“Little Ningyu, don’t be afraid. My little brother just wants to meet you too.”

“That’s right, just keep it like this. See how happy my little brother is!”

“Good girl, just lean forward like this. Yes, that’s right—kneel right here.”

After Gu Junqing’s car rocked for a full forty minutes, it finally came to a stop.

Inside the car, Gu Junqing narrowed his eyes, holding Luo Ningyu in his arms, her clothes half undone. Luo Ningyu curled up against him, completely still.

Gu Junqing suddenly felt that asking Luo Ningyu to come with him after school under the pretense of taking her home had been an extremely wise decision.

Although Luo Ningyu had initially been inexperienced—whether in technique or posture—she was improving quickly. Whether it was Luo Ningyu’s ice-smooth, jade-like hands or her clever tongue, both made it difficult for Gu Junqing to restrain himself. In short, it had been pure pleasure.

“You… ugh!” Luo Ningyu tried to speak but dry-heaved several times, forcibly suppressing the lingering taste in her throat.

She looked at Gu Junqing with eyes filled with both shyness and affection.

Softly, she said, “You stinky man.”

Gu Junqing was currently in a state of blissful satisfaction, feeling utterly euphoric, so he didn’t feel like teasing her further. To be honest, he felt somewhat drained and could only sigh at how his body was still not strong enough.

Gu Junqing stroked Luo Ningyu’s delicate face, occasionally playing with her small hands to feel their warmth, then casually tucked her beautiful hair behind her ears.

Slowly, he said, “I’ll let you off this time. In a few days, give it to me again, okay?” After speaking, he pressed his forehead gently against hers.

Luo Ningyu’s face turned bright red.

She could only murmur, “Okay!”

Filled with satisfaction, Gu Junqing drove Luo Ningyu back to her home.

When parting, Luo Ningyu was reluctant to leave. Gu Junqing waited until she entered the house before driving away.

“Girls are such teases,” Gu Junqing sighed.

Under the boundless night sky, a Cullinan sped away.

………

Early the next morning, Gu Junqing went to school bright and early.

He was quite eager to see the fallout between Lin Tian and Liu Yang.

After arriving at school, Gu Junqing first went to tease Luo Ningyu.

Then he went to Murong Wan to study together. He explained problems Murong Wan didn’t understand, which pleasantly surprised her. She was usually at the top of her grade, with only Gu Junqing ranking above her.

Although their relationship had been strained recently, now that they had reconciled, she could ask him questions again. For some reason, she no longer disliked Gu Junqing’s closeness and even felt secretly happy about it.

Suddenly, Gu Junqing tapped Murong Wan on the head.

“Little girl, what are you thinking about so deeply? Do you understand this problem now?”

“Ouch, that hurts! What are you doing!” Murong Wan protested coyly, then began playfully bickering with him.

Nearby, Luo Ningyu grew somewhat jealous and quickly joined in. The three of them studied and played together.

The surrounding classmates didn’t know who they should envy more.

Watching this scene, Lin Tian gritted his teeth in frustration. For some reason, he even felt as if he were being cuckolded, even though neither girl had anything to do with him.

Liu Yang sat beside Lin Tian, also secretly envying Gu Junqing’s life—studying with beauties by his side, living far too blissfully.

Just then, he suddenly remembered Gu Junqing’s instructions.

He turned his head and whispered to Lin Tian, “Xiao Tian, I won the lottery jackpot yesterday, hahaha! Guess how much?”

Liu Yang’s words made Lin Tian’s face light up with excitement.

“How much did you win?”

“One million.” Liu Yang held up one finger.

The number stunned Lin Tian, making him so ecstatic he nearly jumped up.

Because yesterday, while searching for quick ways to make money, he had realized that with his Golden Eyes, he could gamble or engage in stone gambling—both fast methods that relied heavily on eyesight. But these required substantial capital.

The money he currently had wasn’t enough. He had tried gambling yesterday but couldn’t win much due to limited funds, and he didn’t dare keep winning for fear of being accused of cheating. Moreover, without backing, he worried he might not leave the casino safely if he won too consistently.

But with sufficient capital, he could make one big move, earn a large sum, and leave. After all, gambling wasn’t something to rely on long-term—it easily led to trouble.

“Brother Liu, could you lend me some money? I’ll pay you back in a few days!” Lin Tian said earnestly, though envy flickered in his eyes. After all, one million was enough to tempt anyone.

“Hm, Brother Lin, didn’t I just lend you tens of thousands a few days ago? Why do you need to borrow again? What do you plan to do?”

Liu Yang grew nervous because, just as Gu Junqing had predicted, Lin Tian was indeed asking to borrow money. He also felt a creeping dread toward Gu Junqing’s ability to manipulate people—as if everything were unfolding exactly as Gu Junqing had foreseen.

It was like a giant hand plucking the strings of fate at will—nothing could escape Gu Junqing’s grasp.

His expression darkened slightly, though Lin Tian didn’t notice.

“Brother Liu, I need the money for gambling—just lend me a little, not too much. Five hundred thousand will do! Lend it to me for ten days, and I’ll pay back one million!” Lin Tian said generously.

Liu Yang could only use the excuse he had prepared the day before.

“This money is for saving my mother—I can’t lend you a single cent. Sorry, Brother Lin.”

Seeing Liu Yang remain unmoved even after he promised to double the repayment, Lin Tian grew anxious.

At that moment, he forgot everything Liu Yang had done for him before. Rage filled his heart.

“Anyway, your mother’s illness is incurable—why bother treating it?”

The moment the words left his mouth, a chill ran through him. He suddenly calmed down and saw Liu Yang’s utterly grim expression.

He panicked.

“Brother Liu, big brother, I was just joking! I didn’t mean it—I spoke without thinking!”

Looking at Lin Tian now, Liu Yang felt as though he were seeing a stranger. He never expected Lin Tian to be such a person, and it chilled his heart.

He had merely refused to lend money—money that was critically important—and yet Lin Tian had said his mother didn’t need treatment. Not long ago, when Liu Yang himself had little money, he had still been willing to lend to Lin Tian. Liu Yang had shown nothing but loyalty and kindness, yet instead of repaying that goodwill, Lin Tian had cursed his mother like this.

Liu Yang didn’t realize that from the moment he accepted Gu Junqing’s game, he had already fallen into a trap.

Gu Junqing’s grasp of human nature was truly precise—he deeply understood the principle that a small kindness is appreciated, but a great one breeds resentment.

Originally, Liu Yang had continuously lent money to Lin Tian, causing Lin Tian to treat it as something natural. This sudden refusal unleashed the demon hidden within Lin Tian’s heart.

When the one-million-yuan check appeared, Lin Tian’s jealousy had already taken root, waiting only for a trigger to bring it to the surface.

It was clear that Gu Junqing had won this game.

He exploited Lin Tian’s desperate desire to turn the tables, knowing that with this money as capital, Lin Tian could rise rapidly—but Liu Yang would never lend it to him.

Gu Junqing had calculated everything in advance.
