Blue Star.

This unfamiliar name caused a massive upheaval in the cultivation world at a terrifying speed.

The Immortal Emperor called Blue Star “the path from where he came.”

That alone revealed just how important this place was.

Even the Transmigrator Longevity Grass had originated from there!

All major factions began mobilizing disciples, preparing for a large-scale sweep across the Nine Regions.

No matter what it took, they were determined to find Blue Star.

—

Azure Region, Southern Province

Yan Changkong stood before a cave dwelling on Fei Mo Mountain, murmuring to himself: “According to our records, Ancestor Lin Feng is a native of the Southern Region. He’s not supposed to be from some Blue Star.”

Beside him, the Grand Elder Chen Xiu frowned and said, “Perhaps it’s a place the Ancestor once visited?”

“That’s possible!”

“If so, then it means Blue Star is most likely located in Azure Region—because back then, the Ancestor’s cultivation wasn’t strong enough to travel too far.”

Behind Yan Changkong, the sect elders nodded one after another, agreeing with the logic.

However, after pondering for a moment, Yan Changkong added: “But nothing in the world is absolute. Perhaps this Blue Star is a mysterious realm that can only be entered under special conditions?”

“Or maybe it’s hidden deep in the vast void, not actually in Azure Region at all. That’s also a possibility.”

This speculation wasn’t unfounded.

Many ancient sect records mentioned that this world wasn’t limited to the Nine Regions and Four Seas.

There existed unique hidden spaces in the void—self-contained realms, like miniature worlds.

These weren’t the cave heavens opened by powerful cultivators. They were true domains where living beings resided, known as Immortal Abode Ruins, and no one knew how long they had existed.

Sometimes they appeared by chance. Some cultivators had even stumbled into them.

And the fortunes found within? Vastly different from the mortal world.

Grand Elder Chen Xiu was visibly moved. He lowered his voice and asked: “Are you suggesting that Blue Star might be one of those independent Immortal Abode Ruins beyond the secular world?”

The other elders exchanged glances, visibly shocked.

The existence of such ruins had long been whispered about.

It was said that within these ruins were ancient sect inheritances, congregations of immortals, countless rare treasures, and exotic immortal herbs.

Suddenly, a short, chubby elder with a round face exclaimed: “That’s it!”

“This explains why Ancestor Lin Feng is immortal—and why he can cultivate divine arts in his dreams!”

The elder declared confidently: “He must’ve eaten some immortal herb within the ruins and inherited an ancient immortal sect’s legacy!”

Everyone nodded in agreement—this explanation made sense.

Yan Changkong also gave a slight nod. Perhaps this was the only way everything could be tied together.

The legends of Immortal Abodes had always existed.

Though their authenticity couldn’t be verified, in the hearts of countless cultivators, they instinctively believed them to be real. It was a kind of hope.

Grand Elder Chen Xiu, clearly excited, immediately suggested: “Sect Master, the other major factions will surely spare no effort in searching for Blue Star.”

“Shouldn’t we act quickly as well, before we fall behind?”

The other elders all looked over with burning eyes.

The Immortal Abode Ruins!

To many, these places were akin to the Heavenly Realm itself—the ultimate dream for cultivators.

Especially now, under these circumstances.

With the risks of ascending to the Heavenly Realm exposed—it potentially being a trap, a “slaughterhouse” for cultivators—the entire world had grown cautious.

So if one could instead discover an Immortal Abode Ruin, wouldn’t that be a chance for true transcendence?

The elders of the Profound Azure Sect grew more excited the more they thought about it.

In their eyes, the flame of hope had already begun to burn.

However, Yan Changkong’s reaction was like a bucket of cold water over their excitement. He simply shook his head and said calmly:

“Even if the Immortal Abode Ruins truly exist, they are far too elusive and illusory. In thousands of years, only Ancestor Lin Feng has ever entered one.”

“This means that without an extraordinary stroke of fortune or destiny, it’s impossible to find them.”

Though Yan Changkong was also stirred by the idea, he remained composed and continued: “This isn’t something that can be found just by searching. Even though we’ve got a bit more spirit stones now, there’s no need to waste them on something like this!”

“While others are scouring the world in vain, we should keep our heads down, build up our strength, and take this chance to grow our sect. That’s our true opportunity.”

Chen Xiu still felt unwilling. “But…”

Yet before he could finish his sentence, he stopped himself—he knew that Yan Changkong was right.

Still, it was hard not to feel a twinge of regret.

Chen Xiu then recalled the private vow he’d made: to always trust in the sect leader’s judgment.

Time and again, events had proven that Yan Changkong’s decisions were unquestionably correct.

Take Fei Mo Mountain, for example!

Once an abandoned mountain under their sect’s domain, it had now become a thriving attraction, drawing cultivators from all over to experience and explore.

The daily income from spirit stones was something the former Profound Azure Sect disciples wouldn’t have dared to dream of.

This pioneering initiative had inspired countless sects to imitate them…

Sensing everyone’s unwillingness to let it go, Yan Changkong waved a hand and said: “Calm down! The more critical the moment, the more we need to emphasize stability.”

“Besides, if Ancestor Lin Feng really was the first to enter the Immortal Abode Ruins, when the time is right, he’ll let us know.”

Only then did the elders nod, exhaling slowly.

Indeed—

Lin Feng had deep feelings for the sect. If there was something he should let them know, he certainly would in time.

To blindly search the world now would consume enormous manpower and resources—and in the end, likely yield nothing but a stone sinking into the sea.

How could the Immortal Abode Ruins be so easily found?

—

What came next…

Yan Changkong led the elders in a new inspection around Fei Mo Mountain, pointing out various areas that still needed improvement.

“Our themed environments and climate experience modes have been widely praised. We need to continue refining that model!”

He pointed to a distant peak. While the surrounding skies were clear and sunny, storm clouds loomed over that particular mountain, with thunder and rain pouring down.

That was due to a Thunderstorm Formation set around the peak. Once activated, it would generate lightning and rainstorms—very convenient.

Yan Changkong continued: “We need to quickly finalize all kinds of corresponding formation modes—thunderstorm, fire and ice, blizzards, violent gales, howling demon beasts, and so on.”

“And the interior layouts of the caves shouldn’t be all the same. Add special scenes—like ancient ruins, crypts, underwater realms, tower basements, sealed forbidden grounds, and illusionary realms…”

“Most important of all: fulfill people’s fantasies!”

“Think about it—what kinds of scenes do Foundation Establishment-level cultivators fantasize about?”

He paused, then suddenly added: “Right! The Immortal Abode Ruins we were just talking about—that can be included too!”

“Make it the centerpiece. Set it at the highest price tier. Let’s go with 9,999 spirit stones!”

Grand Elder Chen Xiu looked troubled and said awkwardly: “But… no one knows what the Immortal Abode Ruins actually look like. How are we supposed to design it?”

Yan Changkong gave him a sideways glance and replied: “Isn’t that simple? Use your imagination!”

“Put some effort into it. I’ve always trusted your brain.”

Chen Xiu: “…”

The great elder scratched his head—another handful of hair came loose. This really was a headache.

But Chen Xiu knew as well—if they could design a cave that simulated the Immortal Abode Ruins and ride this current wave of hype, they might actually make a killing!

Just like always: You can always trust the sect leader’s vision.

Yan Changkong was about to say something else when he caught a sudden flash from the corner of his eye—

A projection screen in the distance had lit up.

The final entry of the latest diary had been released.

“It’s here!”

“Let’s read the diary first—see if the Ancestor has made any new discoveries.”

All the elders nodded eagerly.

From every cave across Fei Mo Mountain, pairs of Dao companions stepped out, all gazing toward the glowing screen in the distance.

Under everyone’s watchful eyes, lines of words began to emerge—slowly, clearly.
