“Hello, Yuchen~”

Seeing Kristia standing at the door, Su Yuchen’s mouth slightly opened.

Kristia waved and greeted in a serious tone, “Teacher is here for a home visit.”

Home visit?

Su Yuchen was taken aback, quickly scanning Kristia’s attire. He slightly relaxed but also felt a bit regretful because she wasn’t wearing the professional outfit he saw in her office.

The hoodie dress with black leggings and low-heeled shoes matched the youthful style of a 23-year-old graduate student.

“Home visit?” Xia Yushuang, holding a kitchen knife, walked to the door, looking expressionless at Tia Yufei.

Su Yuchen’s face changed slightly. “Knife, kitchen knife…”

Xia Yushuang ignored him, continuing to stare at Kristia. “I’ve never heard of universities conducting home visits.”

Regarding Xia Yushuang’s presence in Su Yuchen’s home, Kristia was only mildly surprised. After all, their previous interactions had provided quite a bit of information.

Glancing at the kitchen knife in her hand, Kristia smiled faintly, “I believe as a teacher, it’s essential to understand a student’s daily life for tailored teaching. And besides… this isn’t your home, is it?”

Kristia then looked at Su Yuchen. “Aren’t you going to invite the teacher inside?”

“Uh, sure.” Su Yuchen hastily took out a pair of new disposable slippers from the shoe cabinet and placed them on the floor. “Teacher, please come in.”

As Kristia stepped over the threshold and onto the doormat, she slightly bent to unzip her low-heeled shoes. Her petite size 36 feet slipped into the clean disposable slippers from within her black stockings. Su Yuchen looked down at her small feet.

Considering Kristia’s height of over 170 cm, size 36 was indeed small. He had a fleeting thought that his mouth could fit over half of it… Ugh, never mind!

Su Yuchen quickly averted his gaze, meeting Xia Yushuang’s icy stare. He distinctly saw her hand with the knife lift slightly.

Instinctively, Su Yuchen stepped back. Coincidentally, the row of hooks above the shoe cabinet came loose and fell right onto his head.

Clutching his head, Su Yuchen understood something: even with them both negating ‘misfortune’ if one of their mindsets changed, they couldn’t nullify it, and misfortune would still occur.

“Are you okay?” Kristia, now wearing the slippers, immediately approached Su Yuchen, gently touching where he was hit. “The hooks at home need changing regularly; otherwise, they won’t stick properly.”

Su Yuchen nodded hastily.

Xia Yushuang had grabbed Kristia’s shoulder. “Teacher Yufei, is such an intimate gesture necessary during a home visit?”

“I’m just concerned about the student’s well-being,” Kristia calmly replied. “If you’re cooking, continue; I’ll conduct my student’s home visit to first.”

Xia Yushuang’s eyebrows twitched slightly: “I hope you can hurry up, teacher. After all, the food at home is not enough to prepare lunch for three people.”

“It’s okay; I can have instant noodles.”

Xia Yushuang took a deep breath. How long was this hateful woman planning to stay at their home?

Before she could speak, Kristia said, “By the way, there’s something I wanted to discuss with my student.”

Xia Yushuang furrowed her brows. Considering Kristia’s true identity, she snorted lightly, glared at Su Yuchen, then grabbed her kitchen knife and returned to the kitchen.

“Teacher, I didn’t—”

“So, this is your home,” Before Su Yuchen could finish, Kristia withdrew her hand from where he was hit, smiling as she walked into the living room, hands behind her back, observing the room layout.

Su Yuchen clicked his tongue, closing the door and tidying up the fallen coat hooks.

“Is this your bedroom?” Kristia stood at the door of the master bedroom, peering in. “May I have a look inside?”

“No, you can’t!”

Xia Yushuang pressed the corner of the kitchen knife onto the cutting board, turning to glare at Kristia. “During a home visit, sit properly on the sofa and don’t wander around randomly in someone else’s home.”

“What about you?” Kristia smiled at Xia Yushuang. “This isn’t your home either, is it?”

“I have consent, and you don’t.”

“So, Yuchen, can I come into your bedroom?” Kristia questioned again.

“Let me fold the duvet first.” Su Yuchen, who had put the hooks away in the shoe cabinet, walked past.

Kristia pulled out a notebook, pretending to write, “Not making the bed after getting up isn’t a good habit.”

Rolling his eyes, Su Yuchen walked into the bedroom. Kristia followed suit and took a deep breath. “The scent in here is as fragrant as you.”

“Are you a pervert??” Xia Yushuang’s questioning voice came from outside.

Kristia chuckled and looked at the layout of the bedroom. “Well, it’s clean enough and hygienic.”

Su Yuchen, done with folding the duvet, went to the wardrobe and took out a windbreaker. “Are you here for this?”

“No rush.” Kristia sat on the bed, glancing at the bikini-clad sword-wielding figurine on the headboard. “Aren’t you afraid it will fall on your face in the middle of the night?”

“…Not really.”

“Do you like anime?”

“Yes.”

“Which anime is this figurine from?”

“Um… none, it was a gift from my sister.”

“Oh, I see.” Kristia redirected her gaze to Su Yuchen, patting the bed. “Come here.”

Shaking his head, Su Yuchen changed the subject. “How did you know where my home is?”

“I’m a talented student from the Magic Engineering Department,” Kristia smiled. “I hacked into the resident registry website and found out you live here.”

“That’s illegal.”

“Where’s the evidence?” Kristia shrugged. “If I’m not caught, it doesn’t count.”

“That’s… wrong logic!”

“You really don’t want to sit down?” Kristia stood up and walked towards him: “Then I’ll come over.”

“Not done yet?” Xia Yushuang appeared again at the door, holding the knife, glaring at Kristia. “If you’re not here for the home visit, take your jacket and leave.”

“If you speak to a teacher like this, I’ll have to punish you,” Kristia said, arms crossed, drawing attention to the curves beneath her grey hoodie dress.

“Try it,” Xia Yushuang retorted, unyielding. “This isn’t the school, and I’m not your student.”

Standing nearby, Su Yuchen shrunk his neck, quickly intervening, “Don’t be angry, don’t be angry. Let’s talk outside… I’ll help with cooking. Teacher, you can rest on the sofa.”

Both Kristia and Xia Yushuang gave Su Yuchen a pointed look, speaking in unison, “Whose fault do you think it is?”

Thud!

The wardrobe door slammed into Su Yuchen’s head.
