The Vampires pride themselves on being a noble and elegant race.

No matter how filthy the surroundings, they maintain their elegance in formal attire—it’s somewhat more crucial than life itself.

The crisp sound of high heels echoed in the corridors illuminated by elemental lights. Beneath a luxurious lilac gown, similarly colored heels never stirred up any dust with each graceful step.

Most of her golden hair naturally cascaded in gentle waves to her waist. A purple rose hair tie adorned her left side, accentuating a quiet and melancholic aura against the backdrop of golden strands.

The two delicate straps that prevented the gown from slipping crossed at her collarbone and tied at the back of her neck, combining allure with a touch of temptation.

The corridor remained empty. The clicking of her heels was the harbinger of doom.

With each dormitory door she passed, a thud sounded inside, and fresh blood seeped out from under the door, converging into a thick river of blood trailing behind her.

The end of the corridor can be seen at a glance, yet it seems impossible to reach the end. But Kristia’s pace and expression remained unchanged, showing no hint of impatience.

She knew she entered the top floor but was currently on the third.

No need to hurry; she would exterminate them all, and the Lost Array had not fully activated yet. It didn’t matter.

The lace hem of her lilac skirt swayed gently, revealing a slender calf encased in black stockings, appearing more refined under their accentuation.

No one appeared in front of Kristia. Only the river of blood behind her grew longer and thicker.

Without climbing any stairs, Kristia reached the top floor, the ninth level.

The rich and pungent smell of blood permeated every corner of the corridor. The river of blood behind her kept undulating, and bloodied hands occasionally emerged from it, eerie and horrifying.

She halted at the end of the corridor, facing the wall. A single turn, and she took a step forward.

Dorm 601 on her left transformed into a gate of decay under her crimson gaze. Kristia entered without a sound.

A vast space formed by connecting multiple dormitories: no beds, no tables, no chairs—only colorful magic arrays and ten figures seated around the magic circle.

Expressionless humans, elves with limbs bound by iron chains, and monsters that gradually revealed their true forms without emitting cries.

Humans with sage lineage, elves of royal blood, and monsters directly descended from the Demon Lords.

They were all sacrifices.

Retracting her gaze from the ripples gradually emanating from the center of the magic array, Kristia turned to the silent figure draped in a blood-red cloak that had appeared by her side. Though she couldn’t see the person’s face, she knew where they hailed from.

The figure uncovered the cloak that concealed their head, revealing dark gray long hair and blood-red eyes. Between the gradually blossoming elegant smile, sharp fangs emitted a sinister gleam.

“Respected Queen, your servant Sofía Bette welcomes your arrival.”

…

Sss—

The cold glint of a blade swept across the neck. Amidst the spurting blood, Su Yuchen looked at Ichino Tsuko.

“If possible, I really don’t want to bear the charge of assaulting officers… but as long as I’m not discovered, it’s fine.”

Buzz.

With a flick of the blade, Ichino Tsuko’s eyes squinted as the reflected light reached her eyes. The next second, her expression changed drastically. She hastily raised the katana in her hand defensively.

Thump!

Amidst the jarring impact sound, Tsuko involuntarily stepped backward. Continuously shifting her defensive techniques, yet… received no attacks!

Puzzled, she glanced ahead and saw the masked enemy seemingly frustrated, patting his butt.

“Damn it, hasn’t Senior Tia arrived yet? Made me fall repeatedly… Or is she out of range?”

What is this person saying, speaking such peculiar things?

In confusion, she suddenly saw him forcefully hurling the sword from his hand. Tsuko hastily retreated, blocking. The force with which the opponent threw the sword was unexpectedly too powerful. She felt the bones in her wrists snap.

Who is he?

The island’s perimeter was heavily guarded, yet there was no report of anyone intruding. Is he from the Sky City? But checking through the Dangerous Individual records in the Magic Adjudication Bureau yielded no match.

“Miss Tsuko, look here.”

A voice sounded faintly from behind. Before Tsuko could turn, she felt her wrist violently seized, and then—

Rip!

Along with the sleeve, her entire right arm was torn off!

Intense agony coursed through her body. Tsuko clenched her teeth, using magic to stop the bleeding, while wielding the sword in her left hand to strike back.

At the same time, behind Su Yuchen, a person suddenly emerged from the dark ground. However, as soon as the head appeared, it was stomped back down by him.

The earth magic blossoming from the sole of his foot directly controlled the surrounding ground, continuously compressing it. In an instant, spurts of blood sprayed from the ground like fountains, staining the area red.

Tsuko, whose left wrist was grabbed, trembled uncontrollably. She wasn’t a specialized combatant, merely a talent sent by the Magic Adjudication Bureau of Sun and Moon country. Therefore, such brutal slaughter methods fueled her growing fear.

The person before her eyes was undoubtedly a brutal and psychotic murderer!

While thinking so, another intense pain shot through her—her left arm was torn off at the root.

“Ah!!!”

The fear within and the physical pain overwhelmed her, causing her to cry out uncontrollably. As her body staggered backward, she looked at Su Yuchen with eyes full of devilish terror.

She saw a Yin-Yang Master dispatched by the homeland, dismembered in his hands… mercilessly.

He could have just killed directly, so why brutalize like a savage monster?

Huff, huff, huff…

Amidst heavy breaths, Tsuko’s inner self collapsed entirely. The desire to survive made her try to flee, but losing both arms severely affected her balance. She kept falling, crawling back up repeatedly.

Su Yuchen calmly pursued, following her into a dormitory building.

“So strong of a bloody smell.”

Su Yuchen wrinkled his nose, striding, kicking open dorm room after dorm room. “Miss Tsuko, where did you go?”

“Not here… Miss Tsuko?”

“Huh, not here either.”

Zzzz…

The sharp and ear-piercing sound of the katana dragging on the ground continued, a constant reminder like a death knell to Tsuko hiding in the innermost stall of the restroom.

She forcefully held her breath, struggled to control her body’s tremors, eyes quivering as she listened to the approaching sound of the sword’s tip dragging closer. Her heart almost stopped.

“Could she be in the restroom?”

“So many partitions.” Su Yuchen kicked open the first compartment. “Miss Tsuko, not here.”

“What about this one?”

Bang!

“Nor this one.”

“Miss Tsuko, come out. I won’t kill you.”

Bang!

“Miss Tsuko, I’ve seen you. Stop hiding!”

Listening to the adjacent partitions being kicked open, Tsuko felt her heart was about to stop. She stared fearfully at the door in front of her, afraid it would be kicked down any moment.

“Not in this restroom? Miss Tsuko, you’re good at hiding. Well, let’s check another place.”

As the sound of the sword tip dragging on the ground grew distant and finally disappeared… Tsuko’s tense body relaxed suddenly, breathing the air of a narrow escape.

“So… so scary…”

Tsuko, now slumped against the toilet, tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. “Mom… I want to go back…”

The word “home” that couldn’t come out got stuck in her throat. Tsuko’s pupils dilated intensely, terrified as she looked at the figure leaning against the partition, dark eyes resembling a demon—

“Found you, Miss Tsuko.”
