- Stranded on a Deserted Island—They All Started Plotting Against Me
- Chapter 59 - Chapter 59
“Anya, isn’t it wrong for us to spy on someone like this?” Qin Ruoshuang trailed slowly behind Anya as they headed toward the beach, still maintaining an air of “utter reluctance.”
“You can always choose not to look later!” Anya said excitedly as they walked.
Sometimes girls could be even more shameless than boys.
Especially after they had just discussed some very sensitive topics.
At the moment, both were feeling a bit carried away by their curiosity.
Meanwhile, completely unaware of the situation that unfolded during their short absence, Zhang Liu was crouching by the seaside, vigorously scrubbing his underwear.
He had already washed his outer clothes, pants, socks, and shoes thoroughly with seawater; the underwear was the last step.
He was soaking wet.
Dealing with that goat had taken Zhang Liu a whole day and night, leaving him covered in bloodstains and ash.
Now that he was clean, Zhang Liu felt completely refreshed and comfortable.
He even began humming a little tune.
At the same time, Zhang Liu was thinking about how he would get along with Qin Ruoshang and Anya in the future.
He had been fooling himself inside for a long time.
But now he had come to a clear understanding.
That as a boy, his instincts would inevitably give rise to some impure thoughts about the two girls of a similar age.
Having such thoughts wasn’t necessarily a problem—he just needed to work on overcoming them.
The best solution was to separate from the two, but he couldn’t find another suitable place to live nearby.
Maybe after investigating the plane wreckage, he could search around the cave area to see if there was a spot fit for a single person.
The idea of building a shelter, which seemed very reasonable, was not something Zhang Liu hadn’t considered.
But with just the metal scraps in his hand—pieces so blunt he had to grind them several times just to cut meat—he really didn’t think he could finish such a task.
Moreover, over the past four days, Zhang Liu had already spent too much time and energy just trying to get something to eat.
If it weren’t for the unexpected gift of the goat, he would have had to leave the girls tomorrow to explore the plane wreckage in a state of anxiety, eager to return as soon as possible.
Considering this, Zhang Liu couldn’t help but chuckle to himself.
He remembered something. Since catching the goat, he hadn’t eaten any shellfish from the beach.
Wasn’t this a case of the “childhood friend” being overshadowed by a sudden newcomer?
Having finished scrubbing his underwear, Zhang Liu straightened up in the slightly setting sun and stretched contentedly.
Behind him, Anya and Qin Ruoshang had been having an intense discussion five minutes ago.
“When boys squat down, why is only one part visible? Shouldn’t it hang down like a bull’s?” Anya stared wide-eyed, utterly bewildered by what she saw.
In her mind, men and bulls were supposed to look pretty much the same, right?
“Maybe he hasn’t fully developed yet?” Qin Ruoshuang attempted to use her limited knowledge of the opposite sex to find an answer.
But when Zhang Liu, holding his underwear with one hand in the sunset, turned around and stretched, both girls fell silent.
Looking at each other, Anya and Qin Ruoshang realized their faces were both flushed red to the extreme.
“Ugly…” After a moment of silence, Anya couldn’t help but mutter under her breath.
“So strange…” Qin Ruoshang’s eyes were wide, but she said nothing, only wondering silently.
This thing looked completely different from the Venus statues she had seen before.
Then, an eerie silence fell between the two.
After a few seconds of silence, they simultaneously made a dash for the cave, though they tried their best to muffle their footsteps.
It was as if they were thieves sneaking away after a successful heist.
When they reached the cave, Qin Ruoshang and Anya began to pant heavily as they looked at each other.
Neither said a word; each had their own thoughts.
Qin Ruoshuang, who had never seen such an organ outside of pictures or statues, was simply overwhelmed with shyness.
The thought that had crossed her mind earlier: Is this thing… really so strange?
As for Anya, she was astonished because Zhang Liu’s looked nothing like the bulls she had seen castrated before.
She had always assumed that humans and bulls would be more or less the same…
By the seaside, Zhang Liu, having finished washing his underwear, began strolling along the shore while searching for various resources, completely unaware of his exposure.
He planned to wait for the clothes drying on the small rocks to dry before putting them on.
As for the underwear, which was close to the skin, Zhang Liu preferred to wash it again with fresh water back in the cave and then dry it near the pit.
The sheepskin had been processed by Anya and then soaked in seawater.
Hopefully, by the time they dealt with it at night, the sheepskin would be softened…
Pulling out a big pile of seaweed-like stuff from the seawater, Zhang Liu put it into a giant clam shell that served as a container.
This counted as part of his food reserves.
Standing up, he walked over to the small rock and touched his clothes. Although still wrinkled, they were much better than before.
Glancing at the sun on the horizon, he decided to put on the still slightly damp clothes, shoes, and socks, then carried the clam shell and headed back toward the cave.
“Remember, we must stay calm. When Zhang Liu comes back, we absolutely must act composed.”
Since teaming up to sneak a peek at Zhang Liu bathing, the relationship between Qin Ruoshang and Anya had become much closer.
At this moment, Anya was seriously discussing with Qin Ruoshang how to respond when Zhang Liu returned.
And just then, Zhang Liu happened to walk up to where the two girls were.
“What do you need to stay calm about?” Curious, Zhang Liu set down the giant clam shell and walked over to the huge clam shell soaking the sheepskin, beginning to touch the leather to check its texture.
It was still tough and stiff.
This made him a bit discouraged, but he could only leave it soaking and hope it would get better by tonight.
The two guilty-feeling girls immediately froze.
Anya even started trembling. Earlier, she had been so foolish—thinking it was a good idea to sneak a peek at Zhang Liu while he bathed, and had dragged Qin Ruoshang along as her accomplice.
Now the “victim” was right in front of them. Anya wasn’t afraid of getting caught herself, but worried Qin Ruoshang might slip up and expose her.
If that happened, her plan to date Zhang Liu might be ruined forever!
“It’s nothing! I just saw the sheepskin and felt a bit uneasy,” Qin Ruoshang suddenly calmed down compared to Anya, who had been tense since seeing Zhang Liu. She said softly, “Zhang Liu, are you done bathing?”
“Yeah. By the way, Anya, you were wiping yourself up there, right?” Zhang Liu nodded without pressing further, then turned to ask Anya, “Did you throw that water out?”
Anya instantly recalled the embarrassing incident two days ago when Zhang Liu drank her bathwater.
After a few seconds of silence, she lowered her voice and replied under Zhang Liu’s questioning gaze, “Not yet.”
It wasn’t that Anya deliberately kept it—she had just finished washing her lower body when she heard Zhang Liu was going to bathe, and then she and Qin Ruoshang had gone hand in hand to sneak a peek.
